Self damaging behaviour
Traumatic events
Lack of confidence and self esteem
Bereavement and other losses
I also work as an integrative supervisor with psychotherapists and counsellors.
I speak Turkish and English, therefore the sessions can be arranged in both languages.
Personal Approach
I am an integrative psychotherapist. There are many counselling/psychotherapy approaches avaliable and it can be confusing to decide which one is more suitable for you. Whatever the approach, they all aim to achieve the same goals of facilitating positive change and growth through a variety of tecniques. My training included most of these different approaches. I tend to work from a humanistic base with a tailored approach to cater for individual's need. For example, if a client wants to work on a specific issue with a time limited approach, I use solution focused brief therapy or cognitive therapy methods.
Different ways of working include looking at your belief system and changing your behaviour accordingly. Depending on the difficulties the client wants to explore in many instances when I am working with people I take into consideration family and other significant relationships; particularly from early childhood to see how it influences the way they feel, behave and respond to life events. In this case I will be working with psychodynamic approach.
Cost
I charge £45 per session that lasts 50 minutes. I sometimes offer sliding scale for client with a limited income. I also charge £45 per supervision session.
